Sporty
14 MayHope everyone had a fabulous Mother’s Day!
Haven’t posted here in awhile, but quite understandable considering I had just moved, started a new job, and am going through quite a tough time in my personal life at the moment.
But, alas, fashion’s siren song still beckons..
Just this Wednesday, I purchased a few items off Forever 21′s sale rack on their website. I am very impressed with their prices, and the items arrived promptly yesterday. I bought a pair of shorts, dark denim jeans, a cute, fluffy sweater, a summer dress, and a belt!
I just love everything
Now I just need to find my long pendant necklace to go with the sweater. I think it looks great with some leggings or black skinnies; some shorts with tights work perfectly too.
Anyway, browsing Harper’s Bazaar, I find that sportiness is such a big trend this season. Interesting considering how I wore sweatpants to school everyday in highschool…
I must admit they wear it a lot more stylishly, however.
These ladies mixes sporty with stylish sexiness.
I would definitely wear this trend. I love the cool chic kind of feel, and the pants look pretty comfy too! I would love to pair sporty items with some girly lace or a tough leather bomber. A baseball cap would help.
Now, let me just go dig up those old sweats… :p
FERI For All
23 AprHi there, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Last Wednesday, I finally received my FERI For All jewellery! It’s a set of 10 FERI pieces – all pendants except for a pair of beautiful hoop earrings. They came in very nice, sleek black boxes with a red band and the FERI logo and slogan.

- A nice, sleek box with black velvet inside.
To be honest, a few of the pendants were smaller than I had imagined, but a few definitely exceeded my expectations! I will be putting them all up for sale on Ebay (see Ebay Sale at the top)! Meanwhile, you can check them out in this post. All of the pieces are made from .925 fine sterling silver, AAA-grade cubic zirconia, and plated in 0.1 micron natural rhodium to make them tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic.
Anyway, my favourite piece in the set is, surprisingly, the Fuchsia Fancy Pendant. Not that it doesn’t look striking on the website, but I felt that the picture made its look too pinkish and really didn’t do it justice. So I put it on a sterling silver chain and took it outside for some pictures on Thursday afternoon!

It was hot and sunny, so I wore a black see-through floral lace top (ASOS) with a black tank top underneath (Walmart), and some silver leggings (gifted)! I’m very into the floral and lace trend right now, but I like how the black really tones down their sweetness by adding an edge to them. The metallic leggings work quite well with this outfit; they’re a bit edgy but still have a softer look. Although it’s not in this picture, I also had a red clutch with a snakeskin pattern (Dynamite).
Isn’t this pendant just lovely? I don’t have a good quality camera and can only rely on my cellphone, but the pendant is quite photogenic. Although the “official” picture of it is very pinkish, the real pendant itself is actually a deeper shade of red. I refer this shade because it has a classier feel to it. (Someone fetch me a tiara).
On top of the Fuchsia Fancy Pendant ($65), I also took some pictures of the other pieces – Description & price are in the captions. All prices includes taxes & free shipping! And all pendants come with a free sterling silver chain! If you’re interested, leave a comment or email me

- White Sand Pendant: 18mm length, 8mm width – a small but unique pendant. $45
The Hoop Earrings have by far the biggest savings so grab them quick!
I will update with live pictures of the rest over the week!

The first three pendants above are $45, the Mulberry Bloom is $50, and the Blue Tear Drop Pendant is $55 !
Be sure to visit my Ebay for other great finds too!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
Polyvore Styling Updates

Forever Young
15 AprHere’s another ensemble I put together on Polyvore! I mixed some denim and reds with more delicate neutral tones and a silk scarf.
For accessories, I chose the Garnet Earrings to some more red. The denim dress has a slightly vintage feel so I also picked the rose ring to play that up, and the ring also matches the scarf quite well. I threw the Avro shields in to add some extra glamour to the whole look.
The whole outfit turned out quite mature but youthful and gives me an energetic feeling. What do you think of this look?
And in case you haven’t noticed, I’ve changed my blog to Feritale at myferitale.wordpress.com. As I explained in Me & FERI, I want this to be a more personal and fun space than just about promoting the company Global Wealth Trade.
Also, I’m having a FERI Mother’s Day Sale on Ebay!
The starting prices are all pretty sweet and I will be adding more items up for bids over the next few days, so if nothing catches your eye right now remember to check back later! The FERI accessories in this outfit will also be up for bids soon if you liked them
FERI for Mom
13 AprA very glorious occasion is soon to be upon us, my friends, and if it hasn’t crossed your mind yet, now might be a good time to start. If you’re still wondering – exactly a month from today, on May 13th (aka second Sunday of May), will be Mother’s Day!
Now my relationship with my own mom is a little tense at times – but she is still one of my favourite people in the world, and so I’ve dedicated my second Polyvore ensemble with her in mind. She loves classy styles and matching neutral tones with brighter colours, so she will definitely love this look. I chose pieces that would compliment her pear figure and the the Dolce & Gabbana tote I only wish I can buy for her!
Speaking of Mother’s Day, FERI is also having a Mother’s Day campaign! Aside from discounts on Kijiji (an ad-posting site), we’re also having special Ebay auctions! See us on Ebay
Our high-end designer jewellery will make fabulous Mother’s Day presents! But I understand budgets are limited so if you’re interested in anything, email me and I can cut you some sweet deals!!
Some great finds for moms, more on our site !
Take me to Paris
12 AprToday, when I was browsing through the numerous wonderful fashion blogs on WordPress, I came upon Krys’ blog Peony & Pear Tree and her most recent post about Polyvore, an online fashion/art community with a virtual dressing room that allows users to create fun collages of different outfits and backgrounds. My only complaint is I can’t believe I only knew about it until today! I’ve definitely been living under a rock…
Well, continuing upon my last post’s spring/summer theme, I decided for my very first collage that I’d put together a simple, chic, and classy outfit suitable for spring or summer. I chose the Paris background because the whole outfit has a very romantic and delicate feel to it.
Accessories-wise, I think it’s best not to OD on with these simple, chic looks, and since there are already a hat and a bag, I’d go with just an understated pair of earrings or a ring/watch or some shades. I’ve had my eyes on those FERI pearl earrings ($98) for awhile and I think they would look fabulous with a classy outfit like that. The Secret Garden ring ($453) would add some additional pops of colour. The Flora watch ($890) and the perfectly-named Paris shades ($640) are both stylish and classy. The shades also come in silver but I think the gold would match the bag and the blue dress wonderfully.
What do you think of this outfit and accessory choice? This is a look I’d love to wear if I ever get the chance to visit Paris!
